Jacque Jenkins-Stireman
PRINCIPAL
Jacque has become one of Jackson’s most sought after interior designers who combines sophistication, experience and ingenuity. Having over 20 years of experience in the design world, Jacque has an ambitious design portfolio that includes residential, commercial space and premier resort developments. Her approach: client’s first and beautiful, functional design will follow. Jacque has designed notable homes across the country.
Jacque prides herself on a comprehensive design process, in which all stakeholders are involved, to create a successful and committed environment for design success. Jacque’s personal conviction is to translate client dreams and lifestyle’s of their home or work space into a reality by creating unique, personalized and functional spaces.
Her design approach is one that differs from client to client. She uses a diverse and creative palette of textures, styles, patterns and periods to express her vivid, informed and eclectic design imagination. Jacque possesses a natural artistic talent which is showcased in every home she designs.
Jacque started her career in Newport Beach, where she graduated from the Interior Design Institute after receiving her Bachelors of Art from San Jose State University.
Ashley Cadwalader
DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS
Ashley has been running the business with Jacque since 2014 as the firm’s Director of Operations. Ashley manages the finances, marketing and day-to-day operations of the firm, overseeing a robust, talented team of women at JJS Design. Ashley brings a keen eye for design, immense energy, knowledge and exceptional managerial skills to JJS Design.
A graduate of the University of Tennessee with a bachelor’s in logistics and marketing, Ashley began her career in nonprofit marketing and event development, experience that not only makes her an effective manager of the firm’s day-to- day operations, but also a creative business development mind. Ashley completed her Master’s Degree from Villanova University adding to her repertoire of business knowledge and experience in 2016.
When Ashley is not at JJS, you will find her playing in the mountains with her husband Henry and son Jack. Ashley also gives much of her free time to the Animal Adoption Center helping care for the homeless cats and dogs in our community. She has adopted a dog, Boone and two cats, Casper and Cache since moving to Jackson. Ashley enjoys cooking, fly fishing, hiking, skiing and gardening.
Maya Fulton
INTERIOR DESIGNER
Maya is a Colorado native. Growing up, she was lucky to spend a lot of time in the mountains climbing and riding; hobbies she still very much enjoys. Maya’s parents are both artists and taught her to appreciate design and craftmanship from an early age. Maya moved to Jackson in 2017 after going back to school for her second bachelor’s in interior design at Colorado State University. Before going back to school, Maya worked all over the world orchestrating events for yacht racing teams. She is an avid watercolor artist and an enthusiastic backcountry adventurer.
Vanessa Pratt
DESIGN ASSOCIATE
Vanessa has been with the firm since 2016 and heads up our Design Department. She brings with her 12 years of Merchandise Management and Buying experience, along with an awesome repertoire of design insight. Her attention to detail, creative mind and time-management skills make her a great asset to our firm.
Vanessa, originally a Boston native, headed west for college and fell in love with the mountain lifestyle. She is a graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder with a bachelor’s degree in International Relations. She loves traveling, skiing and riding her cruiser bike around Jackson in the summer.
Sarah Sharp
DESIGN ASSISTANT
Sarah and her family migrated from West Virginia to Gillette, Wyoming for her father’s career in the coal industry when she was a child. Sarah spent most of her school years in Gillette, then went on to run cross country and track while earning a bachelor’s degree in Global Studies from Oklahoma Wesleyan University. From there she moved to Dallas, Texas to explore the city life. In Dallas, she had a variety of job experiences in different industries, including working at White Rock Lake in non-profit development.
Sarah enjoys learning new things and serving the JJS team and our clients with enthusiasm and precision. Outside of work she enjoys running, hiking, traveling, playing guitar and piano and spending quality time with friends.
